The trend is more and more toward an Electronic Data Interface (EDI) where possible. Yes, you can ship loose items through Mainstream but we would recommend that you contact us to check first as some goods travel best on pallets where handling is minimised.

Yes but it depends on how you send your goods. Each unit of travel requires an address label to be affixed. For instance, if you ship 2 pallets then each pallet requires an address label. If you ship 20 cartons loose then each carton will require an address label.

Yes, at Mainstream we understand that not all goods are square in shape and sometimes specialised handling equipment is needed to collect and deliver your goods. Let your account representative our customer services team know of your specialised requirement and we'll arrange the necessary equipment and resource.

Organising a Freight Forward collection is easy. Just fill out the Freight Forward collection request form found in our forms area of the website You can email the form to returns@mainstream.co.nz or if your prefer fax it to +64 9 273 8550. We will then send you confirmation and action your request.

Its simple, just use the Maintrack Consignment Tracking option on this website for online tracking of your goods. Enter the consignment number of the shipment you wish to track and Maintrack will return the tracking results and an imaged copy of the signed delivery note. Maintrack allows you to track as many consignments as you like as well as being able to forward the track results by email. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can contact our customer services team who can assist you with your tracking needs.

Unfortunately yes, whilst our transport solutions are not deterred by a bit of rain, snow, rough seas and turbulence, extreme weather conditions can cause delays to shipping and road closures that can result in unavoidable delays. If this occurs we will notify you of the delay and the new ETA to allow you and your client to plan for new arrival time of your goods.

Yes, you can transfer your CHEP pallets to Mainstream once this option has been activated on your account. To set this up contact your account representative or our customer services team.

No not at all, we can give you one account that will enable you to access and engage the services of any of our divisions making dealing with all of our transport and logistics options easy.

On the first of each month Mainstream sends you an electronic bulletin via email that specifies the FAF for the month and it is also listed in your statement sent to you on the first working day of the month.
