Mainstream New Zealand are proud to announce the introduction of 18 brand new Scania R660 linehaul trucks into our national freight network - marking a major step forward in our commitment to sustainability, reliability, and safety.


These state-of-the-art trucks are equipped with the latest Euro 6 emissions technology, significantly reducing our carbon footprint as we work toward a cleaner, greener future for freight in New Zealand. The R660's fuel-efficient powertrain and low-emission profile help us meet both our Toitu environmental commitments, as well as our own internal targets for carbon reduction.

The move from Euro 1 to Euro 6 standards represents a massive reduction in harmful emissions - with nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduced by over 95% and particulate matter (PM) cut by up to 97%. This leap in clean engine technology underscores our commitment to a greener, more sustainable freight network.
